The Ministry of Sports has made it clear that the fate of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League will be decided only after a new advisor arrives after April 15, in view of the situation related to the spread of Coronavirus.

Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju reiterated that when the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) takes a decision on cricket matters, the epidemic has a direct impact on the citizens of the country.

"After April 15 IPL 2020 schedule, the government will come up with new guidelines and guidelines. Not just for organizations or players, it is for every citizen of the country Is udiki.

The BCCI had earlier discontinued the IPL 2020  auction date until April 15, but after the government issued a travel advisory on March 29, the tournament was set to begin and it was made clear that foreign players were not allowed to enter the country. . This was at the March 11 meeting.

The Ministry of Sports made it clear on March 12 that all sports activities should be canceled in view of the spread of coronavirus. And if that were to be inevitable, events would have to take place behind closed doors to prevent mass celebrations.

The Delhi government has taken a step back and said that there will be no IPL matches in the country's capital till March 31.

Following a meeting with IPL 2020 schedule franchise owners last Saturday, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly informed the media that all calls would be made in view of the government's suggestions.
