Full form of Internet is a computer network which has a global presence. It connects million of computers. The internet full form of computer is influencing our lives remarkably. We have to connect to the internet to access it for that we must choose an internet service provider (ISP). Ex-BSNL ORTEL etc.

There are two broad classification of internet access. They are

• Dial up Access
• Broad Band Access

Webpage:-

     A webpage is document written in a computer language know as HTML. Each webpage has a unique address called URL (Uniform Research Limited).

Website:-

    A website is a collection different Webpages, Images, Video, Audio or other digital . Ex- yahoo.com, rediff.com etc.

Home page :

     The first page an website know as Home page of that website.

Web Browser :-

     A web browser is application software which is used to show the text, video, image, audio and other digital information stored in web page at a website on local area network.

Ex- Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Google Chrome etc.

Browsing :-

    It is a process in which we continuously move from at internet site to another it is also known as surfing.

Search Engine :-

     Search engine is a software program that searches the website's based on the words we provide for the search.

Ex- Google, Altavista, MSN, guruji etc.

File Upload :-

    It is the process of transferring the file from our computer to the other network computer or server.

File Download :-

     The download is the process of transferring file from and network computers or server to our computer.
