Given the increase in Covid-19 cases across the country, e-commerce giants Amazon and Flipkart will be preparing for their upcoming Republic Day sales 4-5 days before their regular dates.
This is being done as e-commerce operators fear that rising Covid-19 charges will delay or impact the final delivery of milestones. Therefore, e-comm companies will start Republic Day sales early.

However, with the rise of Covid-19 cases across the country, e-comexpress bullies have decided to pull off sales earlier this year, which is likely to start from January 16-17. The companies have already collected their items and are preparing to sell.
This means that in this case the Republic Day sale would be longer than usual, naturally as it would have started earlier than planned.
Avneet Singh Marwah, chief executive of Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd said, "Online Republic Day online sales are improving as markets fear the spread of disease and strong provincial restrictions, which could affect the market and supply chain".
He added that sales of offline stores had declined. Therefore, it is a great opportunity for them to transform their online business, quoting India Today.

On the Amazon India platform, the upcoming sales teaser is already live, pointing to the ‘coming soon’ indicator and called the Amazon Great Republic Day Sale.
Deals mentioned on the main e-comexpress website for upcoming sales include up to 80% discount on Amazon Fashion, up to 70% off on home and kitchen items, daily essentials starting at Rs. 99, electrical and accessories items start at Rs. 99, the lowest prices ever made on popular smartphones from brands like Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi and deals among other things, says one report.
